What is Structured data (schema markup)?

Structured data is code, usually JSON-LD using schema.org vocabulary, that describes a page’s content to search engines.

Common types include Organization, LocalBusiness, Product, Article, FAQPage, Service and BreadcrumbList.

It can make pages eligible for rich results and helps search and AI systems understand entities such as your business, products and authors.
